Residential & Commercial Reupholstery · Made in Our Sydney Factory
Whether a lounge you bought elsewhere has started sagging and collapsing, a 20-year-old family favourite needs restoring to its former glory, or your commercial venue needs staged booth and banquette reupholstery without losing trading hours—our Sydney factory strips, repairs, re-foams, and recovers seating of any brand.
Restored to Its Former Glory
You didn’t buy your lounge from Leisure Lounges. No, you went with another lounge. You liked the look and it felt good when you sat on it. At the time, you thought it was a good buy. But oh dear, mere months after putting it in your home, it started falling apart. First, the springs started going. Then the cushions were sagging and now the whole frame collapsed. But don’t fret! Although you didn’t buy your lounge from us at Leisure Lounges, we can still repair it for you.
At Leisure Lounges we specialise in manufacturing custom made lounges to suit your lifestyle as well as your pocket. We manufacture quality, Australian made custom lounges right here in Sydney.
However, it is not all we do. To back up our 10 year guarantee that we provide for all custom made lounges bought from us, we are now also able to provide Sydney, Smeaton Grange (Macarthur), Campbelltown, Camden, Picton, Cronulla, Wollongong, the Southern Highlands and the surrounding areas with a lounge repair, restoration and refurbishment service that is second to none.
Whether the lounge you bought somewhere else fell apart completely and you need it repaired almost from scratch or your beloved lounge is now 20 years old and in such a state that you can’t even give it away, we can restore it to its former glory. It will look like you have bought a brand new couch.
Since we specialise in custom made lounges, at our Sydney factory we have the facilities to either repair your broken lounge or refurbish that beloved piece of furniture you don’t want to part with. But if you feel you would rather like a new lounge, we will help you design and custom make the perfect lounge for you. This is your chance to get the lounge that you have always wanted.
If you want that old, worn-out lounge restored to its former glory, you can choose from our range of more than 300 different fabrics, leathers and vinyls. You can also bring any fabric of your choice and we can use it to tailor make your lounge exactly the way you have always imagined it should look. Even if you just want a new look for your dowdy lounge room, we can refurbish your lounge and cover it with the fabric of your choice for a fresh, new look.

We collect your furniture and strip it down in our Sydney factory—reinforcing solid timber frames, fitting new Black Cat webbing, steel springs, and Dunlop foam, and hand-tailoring your new cover.
We deliver and place your newly restored furniture across Sydney Metro, Macarthur, Cronulla, Wollongong & the Southern Highlands—with Australia-wide delivery and installation for larger commercial projects.
Clubs, pubs, hotels, restaurants, and hospital waiting areas cannot afford to close for weeks. When existing banquette or lounge frames are structurally sound, we remove, re-foam, and recover seating in scheduled batches (or swap removable slip-on booth panels and seat cushions on site) so your venue stays open and trading.
Leisure Lounges Pty Ltd is an approved supplier on the Department of Parliamentary Services Furniture Manufacturing, Refurbishment and Conservation Services Panel (deed active 13 Nov 2024 – 13 Nov 2027, Multi-Agency Access: All Agencies), enabling Commonwealth, state, parliamentary, and public-sector agencies to procure refurbishment and conservation directly.
All commercial reupholstery can be specified with AS/NZS 1530.3 fire-tested commercial foams and textiles, 50,000–100,000+ Martindale rub fabrics (Warwick, Zepel, Mokum, Wortley, James Dunlop), and hospital-grade bleach-cleanable antimicrobial vinyls (Warwick Lustrell®, Wortley Crypton®, Zepel FibreGuard Pro®).
Because we are a full-scale Sydney commercial furniture manufacturer, we can combine reupholstering your existing seating with brand-new custom banquettes, Laminex® and Polytec® plinths and dining tables, acoustic pods, or commercial curtains in the exact same fabric or leather schedule.
We cut and fit genuine Australian-made, CFC-free Dunlop Foam cores treated with Ultra-Fresh® antimicrobial protection—including supportive Dunlop Enduro®, plush Dunlop Opulence®, and sink-in Dunlop Luxura® (plus quick-dry reticulated outdoor foam for alfresco seating). Every cushion is laminated using 100% water-based, solvent-free SABA 3392 + 3101 adhesive.
Choose from over 300 residential and commercial ranges from Zepel Fabrics, Mokum, Warwick Fabrics, Wortley Group, James Dunlop, Profile, Charles Parsons, and Designers Guild—or bring your own fabric (Customer’s Own Material / COM) and our machinists will tailor it to your lounge.
Reupholster in 100% full-hide genuine leather (never split vinyl backs) from NSW Leather Co., Corium Leather (Germany), Tasman Leathers (New Zealand), and Italia Cuoi (Italy)—including olive-leaf and vegetable-tanned hides, PFAS-free leathers, and heavy-duty AFRDI 146 commercial hides.
To back up the 10-year guarantee we provide on all new custom lounges bought from us, our structural frame rebuilds, replacement support systems (solid kiln-dried timber, Black Cat webbing, and tempered steel springs), and new Australian Dunlop foam cores carry our 10-Year Residential Warranty (and 5-Year Commercial Structural Warranty for commercial venues).
